As you are aware from the media and seeing the school itself, Carleton Community High School in Pontefract has suffered extensive fire damage to its buildings early morning last Saturday.
I have been asked to set up this blog to give out information and try to answer any questions learners, parents or local residents will have.
The important thing to remember is the school isn't just the buildings, it is the people as well.
Please keep an eye on the school website for details about when the school will reopen and when learners are required to attend lessons again.
